Marvels of the Deep - whale watching in Hermanus

A splendid day awaits the visitor on this spectacular tour. Depart via Somerset West and the historic Sir Lowry’s and Houwhoek Passes to Hermanus, winter home of the Southern Right Whale, known as one of the best land based whale watching sites in the world. Enjoy lunch in this picturesque seaside town before returning along the magnificent eastern shore of False Bay to Gordon’s Bay and the Strand.

The scenic beauty of the Winelands will remain in your memory long after your return home. The beauty of Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa, reveals a vibrant university culture. Enjoy Franschoek, where the French Huguenots introduced vines to South Africa as well as the Cheetah Outreach Project at Spier while sampling the magnificent Cape vintages en-route.
