Opened in 1991, SAGA TRAVEL is a self-owned "family type" agency - meaning that we take care of our clients as our own family and friends - either when welcoming them here in Portugal, or sending them abroad. At that time, our company had already incorporated professionals with a vast knowledge in the tourism business.

Being a young and dynamic team, Saga Travel identified, from the beginning, two very important keys for success. The first, and the most popular, is Leisure, including Taylor Made Holidays and the second is Corporate.

Market evolution and trends led us to widen our offer to fairs and embrace also congresses and Incentive Travel.  During this process Saga’s Incoming Department also specialized in the art of welcoming foreigners in our country.

Saga invests in new technologies and human resources, resulting in a team of competent professionals, specialized in the different areas of the business and continuously being trained through comprehensive programmes, in order to provide a high quality and personalized  service to our clients.

We also have a special department for Fairs Hotel Bookings. Our offer covers Frankfurt Book Fair, Bologna Children’s Book Fair and Cosmoprof.
